Contrast, coherence and conceptuality.
Finding similarities in two complementary practices.
Design and programming of a website bundle with different domains that are linked to each other but also clearly distinguishable.
The website is inspired by the principle of yin-yang, two forces that are polar opposites but nevertheless relate to and complement each other. The concept reflects the close relationship between the KUBBUK joinery and the artist duo heidundgriess, the contrasts and similarities between their working methods.
The animated buttons and cookie banners (round –– square) show the geometric design language and conceptual strength of both parties.
The structure of the site is based on clear edges and shapes as well as a purist aesthetic that harmonises with the clients’ design language.
Colour and font concept that contrasts and connects the work of the two stakeholders.
Restrained, clear structure that provides a good overview of the client’s projects and products.
